We deeply care about your life getting better and so we are very conscientious in getting to the work and not lots of "small talk" & "rapport building," or just simply listening to you speak for the whole session; like other clinicians in the community. Your time is valuable and we do not want to waste it.
How we are Idiosyncratic
We only employ Licensed clinicians who are licensed within the State of Connecticut and have not had any derogatory concerns in their tenure as psychotherapists.
Our psychotherapists have at least a Masters Level degree; and are highly trained to understand the complexities of differential diagnoses.
We are well-versed in client-centered Rogerian and problem-focused, and solutions-focused, psychotherapies; and our psychotherapists consult with you at your own pace as we meet the clients where they are at.
We understand finding a psychotherapist has its hardships; as this is not choosing your lunch for the day. This is WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT. even though, a good lunch is always great! We want to ensure that you will be paired with a clinician that you feel comfortable in working with; and if you ever want a change; we will help aid you to a provider that is best for you. We pinky swear!
We pay attention to detail; as we offer hospitality, a comfortable environment, and a full therapeutic experience to help our clients feel welcomed and encouraged to collabroate with us here at Cortes to aid in seeing better changes in the major dimensions of our clients lives.
We offer weekend and evening appointments in person, virtual/telehealth, and hybrid services to accommodate busy schedules.
